Who the hell is Simon Barker?

Known as "The Ginger Electrician" on social media, Simon has been an Electrician since 1988. He also has an Honours Degree in Maths and Computing and worked as a Software Developer for a while.

Having worked in some high production roles (Car Industry, Semiconductors and other household name Manufacturers) he got involved with Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and other processes. These come in handy in local trade businesses too!

Nowadays, Simon runs his own Businesses efficiently and with a good profit level. He combines his Electrical and Software experience and is a master at Systemising his Business Processes.

He recognises that a lot of Electricians suffer stress due to not having much of a work life balance. He had to fix this for himself and so is on a mission to pass this on to other Electricians in the UK.
